Phones have become everyone’s scanner. You photograph a form, a receipt or your notes — and then the website you need to upload them to asks for a PDF. Converting is quick, and a few choices make the result look far more professional.

Why convert images to PDF?

  • One file instead of many. Ten photos become one ten-page document.
  • Consistent appearance. PDFs look the same on every device and print predictably.
  • Accepted everywhere. Many forms and portals accept PDF but not images.

Step by step

  • Open JPG to PDF and choose your photos. PNG images work too.
  • Arrange them with the arrows. Each image becomes one page, top to bottom.
  • Choose a page size. A4 is standard in India and most of the world; choose US Letter for the United States. Fit to image makes each page exactly the shape of its photo.
  • Choose a margin. A small margin looks neat when printed.
  • Select Convert to PDF and download.

Getting better-looking results

Take good photos

Shoot in good, even light, hold the phone directly above the page and fill the frame with the document. Avoid shadows from your hand or phone.

Mind the rotation

Phones often store photos sideways with a hidden note saying how to rotate them. Felx reads that note and turns the image the right way up automatically.

Control the file size

Felx keeps your photos at full quality, so ten 4 MB photos make a PDF of about 40 MB. If that is too big, either reduce the photos first with the Image Compressor or the Image Resizer, or compress the finished PDF with Compress PDF.

Going the other way

Need images from a PDF instead? PDF to JPG turns each page into a picture you can share in messaging apps or insert into a presentation.
