About Felx

Felx is a small collection of free online tools for the file jobs that come up every week: making a PDF small enough to email, combining scanned pages into one document, shrinking a photo for an application form, or creating a QR code for a poster.

What makes Felx different

Most online converters upload your file to a server, process it there and send it back. Felx works the other way round. Our PDF and image tools run inside your web browser, using your own device to do the work. Your documents are not uploaded to Felx servers, which means:

• Private files — bank statements, ID scans, contracts — stay on your phone or computer.
• There is no waiting for large uploads and downloads, even on a slow connection.
• There is nothing stored on our side that could leak, be sold or need deleting later.

What we believe a tool site should be

Simple, fast and honest. Every Felx tool does one job, shows you exactly what happened — including when a file could not be made smaller — and never adds watermarks or forces you to create an account. Clear buttons, no tricks, and advertising kept well away from the controls you use.

How Felx is funded

Felx is free to use. To pay for hosting and development, the site may show advertising, including ads served by Google AdSense. Ads are placed between sections of content and never inside upload areas or next to download buttons. You can read how advertising cookies work in our Privacy Policy.

Our tools

We currently offer PDF tools (compress, merge, split, JPG to PDF and PDF to JPG), image tools (compressor, resizer, JPG to PNG and PNG to JPG) and a QR code generator. We add tools carefully, only when we can make them work well. Have an idea? Tell us.
