How to Convert JPG to PDF
- Add your images. Select one or several JPG files. PNG images are accepted too. Each image becomes one page.
- Put them in order. Use the arrows next to each thumbnail to move pages up or down, and remove any you do not need.
- Choose page size and margin. Fit to image makes each page exactly the size of its photo. A4 or US Letter places each image on a standard page, turned to portrait or landscape to suit the photo.
- Select Convert to PDF and download the finished document.
Photographing documents with your phone? Choose A4 with a small margin — the result prints neatly and looks like a scanned document.
How does Felx JPG to PDF work?
A PDF can hold JPG images directly, so Felx does not need to recompress your photos. The original JPG data is placed inside the PDF as it is, which keeps full quality and avoids the blurry, blocky look that repeated compression causes.
There is one exception. Phone cameras often save photos sideways and add a small “orientation” note telling viewers to rotate them. PDF readers ignore that note, so Felx detects it and rotates the image correctly before adding it. Only those photos are re-encoded, at high quality.
The page is then sized according to your choice. With A4 or Letter, the image is scaled to fit inside the margins without stretching and centred on the page. PNG images are embedded losslessly.
The conversion runs entirely in your browser using the open-source pdf-lib library. Your photos are not uploaded to Felx servers.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will my photos lose quality?
No. Normally the JPG is embedded exactly as it is. Only sideways phone photos that need rotating are re-encoded, and that is done at high quality.
Why is my PDF so large?
Modern phone photos are often 3–6 MB each, and Felx keeps them at full quality. If you need a smaller file, run the images through the Image Compressor first, or compress the finished PDF.
How many images can I add?
Up to 100 images, each up to 50 MB. Large batches of high-resolution photos need plenty of memory, so a computer is more reliable than a phone for very big jobs.
Can I convert HEIC photos from an iPhone?
Not directly. On an iPhone, choosing photos through the file picker usually converts them to JPG automatically. You can also set Camera > Formats to “Most Compatible” so new photos are saved as JPG.
Are my images uploaded?
No. The PDF is built in your browser and your images never leave your device.
